These andirons are from the turn of the century and designed in the Federal style. They feature ball and claw feet with an elegant baluster shape leading to a narrow spindle top. They have an honest patina including some dings, oxidation and discoloration. They could be polished and buffed to a bright shine if preferred. Each is marked 'Bradley & Hubbard' on the iron. Bradley & Hubbard was a prominent American metalwork and lighting manufacturer in Connecticut founded in 1852 and sold in the 1940's. Their metalwork pieces are collectible and timeless.
