This 1960s two-piece china cabinet was produced by Red Lion Furniture Company of Red Lion, Pennsylvania — a manufacturer known for carefully crafted American mid century modern furniture with an emphasis on functional elegance and quality construction. The Red Lion medallion label, affixed inside a drawer, confirms the piece's provenance.
The set consists of a display hutch resting atop a low-profile buffet base. The upper hutch features a wide open display shelf running the full width across the top, ideal for showing china, glassware, or decorative objects. Below, the hutch is divided between two large doors fitted with woven cane panels — a hallmark material of the period — and an open shelving section to the right. The buffet base is organized around two cabinet sections: the left side houses removable wooden tray compartments, while the right reveals a generous set of green felt-lined silverware drawers. A long drawer fitted with campaign-style hardware runs beneath both cabinet sections. The entire case rests on four slender, tapered legs in a contrasting darker stain. Marked.
