Antique Pair Art Deco Amethyst-Tinted Glass Shelf Risers Stands
Made in 1920s-1930s.
Each Approx. 12 1/2" Tall.
Each Stand Features a Fluted Ribbed Cone-Shaped Glass Design Joined by a Metallic or Chrome Band in the Center.
Originally used in retail stores to support glass shelving or displays.
Early 20th Century Glass Formulas Often Contained Manganese. When Exposed to Sunlight Over Decades, They Undergo a Chemical Reaction That Permanently Turns the Glass a Delicate Purple Tone.
Great used antique condition. No chips, cracks or repairs. Edges originally rough. Normal wear from use and age.
