Presenting an exceptional, highly rare three-piece vintage collection of chamotte stoneware figures designed by the legendary Lisa Larson for Gustavsberg, Sweden. Originally designed in 1973 as part of her celebrated Sekelskifte (Turn of the Century) series, this lot features the complete, elite Large Trio representing Edwardian-era children.
Each figure is individually hand-decorated and crafted from Larson’s signature textured, grainy chamotte clay, showcasing the perfect balance of rustic Scandinavian folklore and whimsical, expressive minimalism. Their neutral earthy tones are beautifully accented by soft, hand-painted blue and white glaze details.
The Complete Collection Includes:
Viktoria: The absolute crown jewel and anchor piece of the series. Stunningly detailed with bold vertical stripes and a massive, rose-trimmed hat. Features her incised name on the base and retains her original blue foil Gustavsberg factory sticker on her heel.
Gustav: The dapper young boy dressed in a charming, nostalgic sailor suit, featuring a classic "SVERIGE" cap. His base features an impressed "Lisa L. Sweden" studio mark alongside a hand-painted artisan decorator mark.
Sigrid: Exquisitely detailed, sporting a beautiful wide-brimmed hat accented with yellow floral details. Features the official impressed Gustavsberg anchor stamp, "Lisa L. Sweden" mark, and hand-painted "D.W." artisan initials on her base.
An instant, high-end investment set for the serious collector of mid-century modern design and elite Scandinavian pottery.
