The … Read more This 1960s-era piece of furniture was used by a newsstand at milan central station to display magazines and newspapers. The structure features inclined pockets with parallel shelves, specifically designed to hold magazines frontally and maximize their visibility. The sturdy metal frame rests on wheels and is easily movable; it features a shutter designed for nighttime closing and a built-in, rewired lighting system. The shutter has been partially restored. We preferred to keep the original cream-colored paint. The structural condition is perfect; the paint is missing in some areas, but there is no rust. It is perfect as a vinyl record holder or as a decorative element for bars and shops. Officina di ricerca is responsible for the restoration of this display unit.
