Standing at 31 cm tall with a monumental weight of nearly 2 kg (1.940 kg), this piece commands the space as a perfect decorative statement and an exceptional example of late 20th-century italian art pottery.

The flattened globular body features a beautifully executed, hand-painted central medallion on the front. This romantic landscape depicts a traditional sicilian rural estate rendered in vibrant antimony yellow and cobalt blue under a twilight sky filled with birds in flight, perfectly evoking the evocative atmosphere of an island sunset. The central scene is framed by majestic foliate scrolls that elegantly connect to six characteristic ring handles meticulously applied a crudo (to the raw clay).
