This is an impressive and finely crafted Regency-style figured mahogany round dining table of exceptional scale and quality. The richly figured top displays beautifully matched crotch and flame mahogany veneers arranged in a striking radial pattern, framed by delicate satinwood string inlay and a broad cross-banded border. The table is finished with a substantial molded edge above a deep apron, giving it a commanding presence.

The table expands through a sophisticated multiple-leaf extension system to accommodate very large gatherings. Green baize (felt) protective surface allowing leaves to be stored or configured with ease. Fully extended, the table comfortably seats 10 to 12 guests, while maintaining excellent proportions.

The top is supported by four elegantly turned pedestal standards joined to reeded saber legs terminating in brass reeded caps and concealed casters, allowing the substantial table to be moved with relative ease while providing excellent stability.
