A spirited Italian faience pitcher by Cama of Deruta, modeled in the form of a chicken with an open beak serving as the spout. Its sculptural crest, feathered neck, curved tail handle, and expressive painted eye give the jug considerable personality, while the rich cobalt, soft blue, ochre, and white palette keeps it grounded in the traditional Deruta vocabulary.
The body is decorated by hand with scrolling foliate motifs and small floral accents, creating a piece that feels decorative from every angle.
