This sculptural example embodies Pearsall’s exploration into heavily textured, relief-driven surfaces—often referred to as the “Sculptura” or “goop” series—where cast resin is applied over a wood core to create deeply dimensional, almost carved compositions. 

Each side of the cube presents a unique abstract panel, composed of geometric and organic motifs—radiating forms, linear ridges, and symbolic relief elements—giving the piece a dynamic, gallery-like presence from every angle. The surface is finished in a rich, mottled bronze tone with darkened recesses, emphasizing depth and texture in true brutalist fashion.

The top features a sleek black laminate surface, offering a refined contrast to the rugged, expressive base. This juxtaposition of raw sculptural mass and clean planar top is characteristic of Pearsall’s later work, influenced by the aesthetic language of artists such as Paul Evans.
