This Handmade Ceramic Jar is a masterclass in patience and precision. Standing at 20 cm, this “Kupecik” (Small Jar) transforms a classic floral design into something extraordinary with its unique background technique.

Thousands of Touches Instead of a plain white ground, the artisan has applied the “Stippling” technique filling the empty spaces with thousands of tiny, rhythmic painted dots. This creates a rich, textured appearance that looks like fine fabric or lace from a distance. Upon this intricate canvas, Cobalt Blue and Turquoise Tulips bloom elegantly.

Calming Palette Unlike the fiery reds of typical Iznik pottery, this piece focuses on the cooling hues of blue and green. It brings a sense of tranquility to any space, framed only by a thin terracotta band at the shoulder for structure.
