This absolutely lovely piece came from the Texas estate of a well-traveled art professor and would be perfect for holding your book, glass of wine or teapot. Made of lightweight wood, it has a brilliant turquoise top and oxblood red body with a black underside. While in good overall condition, it has flecks of imperfections and a few scuffs along the edges, but I think that adds to its charm. While it is a garden stool, it is not made of ceramic so this should be an inside piece.
