This substantial 72-inch executive desk embodies the quality and craftsmanship for which Kittinger has been renowned since 1866. The desk features fluted tapered legs with brass casters, three leather writing panels, a center writing drawer with pull-out slide, generous storage drawers, and original brass hardware.
The underside retains the original Kittinger "Buffalo 1866" burn mark, confirming its authenticity, as well as the original Hubinger Company metal inventory tag (#21308).

Provenance
According to the previous owner, this desk served in the executive offices of the historic Hubinger Company headquarters in Keokuk, Iowa, and is believed to have been used as the president's desk. The desk remained in the executive offices for many years before being gifted to a close family friend, from whom it was later acquired by the current owner.
The original Hubinger inventory plaque remains attached beneath the desk, preserving an important part of its history.
