A dramatic 4-panel folding screen in deeply glossy black lacquer, hand-painted with traditional Chinese figural and botanical scenes — court ladies in flowing robes, flowering branches, rockery, and still-life vases and bonsai along the lower register. Each panel is bordered in gilt key-fret and scrollwork detailing. Brass block feet and strap hinges throughout
