A vintage John Widdicomb Co. 8-drawer sideboard, crafted in the Regency style, circa 1950. The sideboard features a rich mahogany hardwood finish with a serpentine front and eight drawers adorned with brass-tone bail pull handles. The top two drawers are shallow, with three deeper drawers on each side below. Accompanying the sideboard is a matching mirror, presenting a scrolled, shaped frame embellished with carved gilt trim and shell or leaf motifs, complementing the Regency aesthetic. The John Widdicomb Co. label, identifying it as 'Makers of Fine Furniture, Grand Rapids,' is present inside a drawer, affirming its American provenance.
