Finely … Read more A fine quality Scandinavian (probably Swedish) coal or fireplace bucket. It dates to circa 1750. Perhaps a tat earlier. Finely hand forged brass handle, rivets, inner pewter lining and a honest wear with a rosy silvery patina. The height of 26.5 cm (10.5 inches) is without the handle. Besides its obvious purposes it would also serve you greatly as a planter, a cauldron or ice bucket for 2-3 bottles. See less
