Revival History: The chair style dates to the late Victorian or Edwardian era (circa 1880–1910) and is a modern revival piece. Heavily inspired by early 19th-century French Empire and English Regency design, this commanding piece is perfect for a sophisticated library, study, or living room vignette. The chair features a flat, formal rolled-back top upholstered in rich, original-style brown leather paneling. The leather is beautifully accented by continuous, hand-tacked brass nailhead trim that highlights its classic silhouette. The true showstoppers are the sweeping, oversized "S" or "gondola" scrolled arms, which terminate in tightly carved, architectural volute swirls.

The dark, rich reddish-brown wood frame—crafted from premium mahogany or walnut showcases beautiful relief carvings with acanthus leaf motifs, transitioning into elegant turned, ring-detailed legs with block knees.
