Very expressive oil painting by Dutch artist Henri Titselaar.
Oil on hardboard, size: 63 x 47 cm (24.8 x 18.5 inch).
Framed and behind glass, with passe-partout.
Signed and in very good condition.
Henri Titselaar (1917-2013) was a Dutch artist who worked in the style of the Fauvists, Bergense School and Groninger Ploeg. Even though he was a local celebrity and had lots of expositions in his natal Holland (i.e. Stedelijk Museum Alkmaar, Van Abbemuseum, Fundatie Kunsthuis Amsterdam) until now he never made it to international fame. This piece has an attribution mark,
