Offered for sale is a large-scale mid-century Mario Pinzano Seguso VDA Sommeroso Murano art glass decanter. This art glass bottle designed with the Sommerso technique, showing distinct layered colors of purple and blue The work is by Mario Pinzani for Seguso Vetri d'Arte.

The Mario Pinzano (also spelled Pinzoni) Sommerso decanter for Seguso Vetri d'Arte (VDA) is a mid-century Murano masterpiece. Designed circa the 1950s–1960s, this design features heavy layers of colored glass encased in thick, polished clear crystal, resulting in an optical "submerged" effect. The decanter displays a brilliant color combination paired with clear. The base is square and beautifully polished and comes with a matching ground-glass stopper.
