This piece features a heavy, abstract black form against a beige background. Held in a black frame against a white mat, this piece is signed to the lower edge.

Originally from Sandusky, Ohio, Sayre studied at the School of the Dayton Art Institute and continued his graduate studies at the University of Cincinnati. He taught at Wright State University, the University of Dayton, the University of Cincinnati, and Indiana University East where he was head of the sculpture program. See less
