Celebrate the warmth, innocence, and craftsmanship that made Ron Lee one of America’s most recognized sculptors of collectible clown art.
This signed 1985 sculpture depicts a joyful clown gently embracing a smiling child, capturing a heartfelt moment of comfort and affection. Executed in Ron Lee’s unmistakable style, the figure features hand-painted enamel finishes, richly detailed 24K gold-plated accents, and is mounted on a substantial natural onyx base.
The clown’s iconic red, white, and gold checkerboard costume contrasts beautifully with the natural veining of the polished onyx, while the expressive faces and carefully sculpted hands showcase the attention to detail that collectors appreciate in Ron Lee’s work.
Signed and dated “Ron ’85” on the base.
A wonderful addition for collectors of Ron Lee sculptures, circus art, Americana, or decorative sculptural objects.
