It was a challenge to capture the true color of the metal. In person they have a more
medium dark reddish brown dusty color. The photos show up as mostly a gray color,
but that is not the case. They cannot stand up on their own but I have seen stands
that would work well.

I've had these pieces for years and they still haven't shown up in reverse image searches,
only similar items and even that is lacking. If anyone has more information or photos I
invite you to share it with me. They do have imperfections in the metal, roughly cast.
No damage, well made despite the imperfections.

These horns appear to be a set of 10" brass or bronze ceremonial currency horns from
the Cameroon Grasslands. The original horns are typically made of brass or bronze and
have a reddish brown color. Each one weighs approx. 1 lb. They are likely used in
traditional African ceremonies, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Cameroon.
The horns could also be royal regalia ornaments, or prestige trade objects from the
Tikar, Bamum or Bamileke cultures. These horns hold historical and cultural
significance, making them a unique and valuable collectible for those interested in
African antiques and ethnographic artifacts.
