Standing an impressive 17.5 inches tall, this remarkable set commands attention with its architectural form, richly engraved decoration, and exceptional craftsmanship.

Founded in the late nineteenth century, C.B. Barker Mfg. Co. was among the distinguished silver manufacturers of Meriden, Connecticut—one of America’s premier centers for fine silverplate production. Their quadruple plate wares were celebrated for their heavy silver deposit and superior quality, and this example has survived in extraordinary condition.

Every surface is beautifully detailed. The body features finely engraved Aesthetic Movement floral and botanical motifs accented by deeply repoussé floral borders. The elaborate cast handle, decorative spout, pierced finial, and elegant tilting stand with scrolling feet demonstrate the high level of artistry that distinguished Barker’s finest work. The original interior strainer remains intact, and the vessel tilts smoothly on its stand for graceful serving.

Completing the set is the original matching goblet, engraved in the same floral pattern, making this an increasingly scarce and highly decorative ensemble.
