Designed by the legendary Flavio Poli for Seguso Vetri d'Arte around 1956, this heavy, hand-blown piece features a striking "sommerso violetta-aquamarina" coloration. The vibrant violet core is seamlessly encased within a brilliant aquamarine layer, creating a mesmerizing interplay of light and depth.
Sculpted into an organic, elegant form reminiscent of a sea shell, this thickly cased piece is a true heavyweight of Murano craftsmanship, weighing nearly 6 kg. It is a highly versatile statement piece, perfect for use as a dramatic fruit bowl or as a standalone sculptural centerpiece on a dining or console table.
The bowl is in excellent vintage condition and comes fully authenticated, bearing the incised signature "Seguso Murano 010756" on the base.
