Two cherub heads are set within broad gilded wings, a form closely tied to Baroque ecclesiastical and architectural ornament. The carving retains an aged surface with faded gilding, worn polychrome paint to the faces and hair, and a plain wooden back fitted with an old iron hanging loop.
