This exceptional dining set comes from the same ensemble as the monumental sideboard offered separately. The ensemble is believed to have originated in Vienna in the 1920s and impresses with its high-quality craftsmanship, elegant proportions, and the use of exceptionally decorative bird's-eye maple.

Although the ensemble's provenance has not yet been definitively established, it exhibits clear parallels to Viennese furniture design of the interwar period and stylistically belongs to the circle of the Wiener Werkstätte and important Viennese designers such as Otto Prutscher.

The generously sized extendable table features a veneered bird's-eye maple top and can be extended from 135 cm to an impressive 261 cm using two extension leaves. The solid central pedestal ensures high stability and maximum legroom, even when the table is fully extended.

The six chairs and two armchairs harmoniously echo the table's materiality and design language. The light-colored upholstery creates an elegant contrast to the warm gold tone of the veneer, lending the set a sophisticated yet modern look. The curved armrests of the armchairs, in particular, underscore the refined design.

This dining set is suitable for both a sophisticated period interior and as a standalone piece in a modern architectural setting.
