Gorgeous, intricate copper-etched floral vine panels layered over rich gmelina hardwood veneers. Hand-applied brass nailhead trim and genuine leather buckled straps give it an authentic, antique traveler look. This rare collection includes the central Trunk Coffee Table alongside two matching Trunk End Tables. Each piece in this uniform collection features a sturdy, handcrafted solid hardwood frame wrapped completely in a dark, durable, heavy-duty steamer canvas. The front, side, and top panels of all three trunks are beautifully decorated with an identical, gold-colored stenciled damask filigree pattern featuring central acanthus rosettes and flowing floral arabesques. Every trunk is heavily structured and protected by etched antique brass metal trim, hand-stitched leather bindings, leather accent straps, and secured with hand-hammered brass nails. The multi-tonal patina on the brass elements was intentionally styled to replicate centuries-old trunk craftsmanship. Lifting the heavy lids reveals generous, beautifully engineered storage compartments that serve as hidden caches for blankets, pillows, or media.
