Sligh Jr.'s famous "Cross Country" line, which was introduced in 1950. This specific modular line featured clean, Scandinavian Modern styling and was manufactured at the historic Monroe Avenue factory in Grand Rapids. Designed by Herbert Ten Have for the historic Sligh Cross Country collection (1950–1957) out of Grand Rapids, MI. Features the original, highly sought-after light Driftwood/Sand Dune finish on solid oak and oak veneers. Retains its original mid-century solid brass hardware pulls.
