The plates bear engraved credits to Madeleine Françoise Basseporte ("Magd. Basseporte del.") along with engravers including E. Haussard and Fme. Dupuis.

The prints feature French varietal names including Madeleine Rouge, Calville d'Été, Amandier à gros fruit, Azerolier d'Italie, and Neflier à gros fruit, together with one botanical study of flowering plants. They were likely published as illustrations for an early French botanical or pomological work.

The prints exhibit exceptionally fine engraved linework with period-style coloring. Each sheet retains a faint plate impression and a paper watermark visible when held to light. While the exact publication and printing date have not been definitively identified, the set is believed to date from the late 18th to mid-19th century.
