These sculptural … Read more A rare and beautifully crafted pair of Scandinavian Modern wall lamps manufactured by Markslöjd, Sweden, during the 1970s. These sculptural sconces embody the warmth and understated elegance of Swedish design, combining rich stained beech with softly glowing honey-colored opaline glass shades to create an inviting and atmospheric light. The generously proportioned, rounded glass shades feature a distinctive stacked profile that diffuses light beautifully, producing a warm ambient glow. Each shade is supported by a solid beech arm and circular backplate, accented with an unusual braided jute rope trim that introduces a natural, organic element characteristic of Scandinavian interiors from the period.
