Acquire a remarkable piece of design history with these authentic antique office armchairs, model No. 23, manufactured by Thonet Austria. Dating back to the 1885–1920 period, these chairs showcase the pinnacle of classic bentwood craftsmanship, featuring a beautifully curved wrap-around backrest with elegant vertical slats and a comfortable upholstered seat. The chairs are preserved in a beautiful, completely original untouched condition with no modern interventions or restorations, maintaining their high historical value. They exhibit gentle signs of use and age, including light superficial scratches on the wooden frame and armrests that beautifully enhance their genuine vintage character and unique patina. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
