Truly an amazing find! Intricately handpainted Limoges cabinet plate in a background with a cobalt band encrusted with a simple yet elegant design of roses and swags in a raised gold pattern. The outer rims are also encased with gold. Good condition to the painting and plate. A beautifully depicted scene of a maiden in period clothing surrounded by nature. Signed by artist is L Jean.
