Rosso Antico … Read more This is a set of 3 blue toned bottles, Rosso Antico bottles that were designed by Salvador Dali. Rosso Antico is a dessert wine produced in San Lazzaro di Savena, Italy. Dali was commissioned by the makers of Rosso Antico in the early 1970's to create these surrealist images on their bottles as part of a promotional Campaign. This serie was called ''The famous bottles illustrated by Salvador Dali''. The print plates for these bottles were destroyed back in the very early 1970’s to ensure limited edition status. They rarely come up for sale and are highly collectable.
The three bottles are three different shades of blue. Each bottle has a different design. Each bottle is numbered on the back as #1, #2 or #3. All three have a round plastic cap. This piece has an attribution mark,
