The shallow coiled form and finely stitched construction are reminiscent of traditional Polynesian and Pacific Island weaving traditions, where functional baskets were created for serving, storage, and ceremonial use.
The basket features subtle geometric banding and tightly woven concentric patterns that highlight the artisan’s skill and attention to detail. Its clean, organic form makes it ideal as a decorative centerpiece, wall display, or collector’s piece.
A lovely example of traditional natural fiber craftsmanship with timeless island character.
