Published as Plate 37 in Alexandre M. Raymond's monumental folio *L'Art Islamique en Orient – IIe Partie*, the work belongs to one of the finest early twentieth-century surveys of Islamic architecture and decorative arts in Anatolia. The sheet presents two elegant examples of Ottoman geometric latticework rendered at a scale of 1:10. The upper design consists of an intricate network of interlocking polygons and rosettes, creating a sophisticated visual rhythm through repetition and symmetry. The lower panel employs larger star formations, emphasizing the monumental character and mathematical precision that define Islamic ornamental traditions. These marble and stone screens reflect the artistic transition from late Seljuk forms to the emerging Ottoman style.
