An exceptional English travel or ship's desk, an original from the 20th century. Made of wood, with its characteristic reddish hue, with gilt brass fittings and ornaments.
When opened, the writing surface unfolds, black in color with an embossed perimeter and a gilt ornamental border. It shows some wear, consistent with its age and use. The leather support lifts up, creating a space for paper and envelopes. It has several compartments for pens, ink, and writing accessories. When closed, it forms a small, easily transportable, and decorative rectangular box. A magnificent piece for any lover of writing and antique nautical objects.
