Made of white bisque porcelain with a soft matte finish on the exterior and a glazed interior. The organic silhouette flares gently outward, echoing the folded form of a calla lily or unfurling leaf — two curved petals rise and part at the rim, creating a distinctive sculptural opening. The body tapers into a slender, faceted cylindrical base.

Part of Feyl’s celebrated “Calla” series, first introduced around 1979 as part of Rosenthal’s 100th anniversary jubilee line and produced throughout the 1980s. A refined example of German Studio-Linie design, this piece embodies the understated, nature-inspired minimalism characteristic of Rosenthal’s artist-driven output from the period.
