Circa … Read more This Really is a Great Looking - Very Rare & Hard to Find Model Antique American Cast Iron Doorstop. Circa Approx 1920s. It is Rendered in a Wonderful Poinsettia Flower Pot Design. The Back of the the Doorstop Has the Model Number "37" in the Casting at the Base Area. It is Not Signed but it is Pictured and Identified in "The Doorstop Book" as "Cottage" Model Number 1282 and Made by ( Signed on Back ) "cjo" - The H.L. Judd Company of New Haven Connecticut ( Book Value $400 to $500 ). It is Very Heavy Solid Cast Weighing Over 5 1/2 Pounds. NOTE That it has Very Nicely Detailed Bold - High Relief Raised Features in the Casting. It Still Retains its All Original Hand Oil Painted Features that are Also Beautifully Detailed. It is in Excellent All Original Condition - Displays Beautifully. No Damage..
