Louis xv style walnut marquetry bombé commode

charming louis xv style bombé commode, crafted from walnut and richly veneered with marquetry depicting scrolling foliage and floral motifs. The three-drawer front showcases remarkable veneer work in warm hues, framed by finely drawn reserves.
the rounded uprights are adorned with high-relief carvings of acanthus leaves and extend into elegantly carved cabriole legs. The shaped lower rail, embellished with a central motif, accentuates the elegance of the lines. The drop handles and patinated bronze keyhole escutcheons perfectly complement the refined character of the piece.
the three large drawers offer ample storage and function well. The top, veneered in flamed walnut, retains its beautiful original patina. The piece is in very good condition, with only slight signs of wear consistent with its age, which do not detract from its overall appearance.
