Important glazed stoneware vase from Les Potiers d'Accolay, an iconic French post-war ceramics manufacturer.

This piece is distinguished by its elegant globular body resting on a small foot, its long, flared neck adorned with moldings, and its two wide side handles, in a style inspired by antique forms revisited through the lens of 1950s design.

It is coated with a superb golden-brown glaze nuanced with caramel and amber highlights, characteristic of Accolay's production from this period. The quality of the glaze and the generous proportions give it a strong decorative presence.

The original label "Les Potiers d'Accolay – Made in France" is still present on the neck. The base bears an old collector's inscription.

A very beautiful decorative object suitable for displaying large floral arrangements or on its own.

Condition:
Very good overall condition. A few very slight signs of wear and tiny, isolated chips in the glaze are visible on the neck, but these do not detract from its appearance. No cracks or repairs.
