This substantial stoneware vase, with its slender, tapered silhouette, is entirely covered in a remarkable fired glaze in shades of white, powder pink, and deep brown. The surface features a highly textured, organic design reminiscent of bark, petals, or mineral formations, enlivened by numerous cavities and textural effects achieved during firing.

The glaze work is particularly successful: the drips, pinkish hues, and brown-black accents create a depth and visual richness that make each face unique. This one-of-a-kind piece reflects an aesthetic akin to contemporary Japanese and Scandinavian ceramics, where the material and the fire become the true creators of the artwork.

The vase is signed on the base (see photo).

In very good condition, with only a few small chips in the glaze on the upper rim, barely visible and without affecting its overall appearance.
