An impressive Chinese bookcase in deep red lacquered wood, richly carved and decorated with floral and bird motifs in the Orientalist style.

The upper section features two glass doors, perfect for displaying objets d'art or porcelain.

The frames are enhanced with delicate hand-painted gilt decorations.

The openwork pediment displays an elegant design of finely carved scrolls, flowers, and foliage.

The lower section features two solid doors with carved panels depicting floral scenes inspired by Chinese decorative art.

The lower rail is adorned with a spectacular openwork carving of dragons facing each other amidst stylized clouds.

The entire piece rests on cabriole legs and displays remarkable decorative quality.
