It has a fully fitted interior with leather fall. The top has glazed doors with shelves behind. The base has 3 drawers and is set on turned legs with a cross stretcher. On 2 places on the back of the piece there are tags labled Smithers & Sons which was a business based in Kingston-on-Thames, a town in southwest London, England. In the early 20th century, companies like Smithers & Sons often provided furniture storage, removals, and delivery services. The label appears to be a storage or delivery tag attached to an item, indicating the customer ("Mr. Barber") and the date (21 May 1924). Just a little piece of interesting history of the piece.
