A striking two-piece porcelain ensemble from Rosenthal Studio-Line, bringing together the sculptural forms of Finnish designer Tapio Wirkkala with the vibrant graphic decoration of American designer Dorothy Hafner. Produced during the 1980s as part of the celebrated Century New Wave collection, the set captures the dialogue between Scandinavian organic modernism and the expressive visual language of postmodern design.

The ensemble consists of a generous low bowl and a wide sculptural vase, both executed in glossy white porcelain with finely moulded relief surfaces.
