This particular type of serpentine stone comes from the Lizard Peninsula; it has been carved, turned, and polished to reveal the deep green base color streaked in light green veining and flashes of red, leaving the base unfinished to recall the natural landscape–a delightful souvenir of a memorable journey. On top, a serpentine finial is mounted on a clear glass cylinder that protects the candelabra-base lightbulb, softly guiding the way in any room around the home. Professionally cleaned and rewired for US electrical using UL-listed components, adding a black braided electrical cord with in-line switch. We believe this to be in good antique condition considering its age, and any visible signs of wear are captured in the photos.
