Published in 1924 in Alexandre M. Raymond's important folio L'Art Islamique en Orient – IIe Partie, the print records architectural details dating to approximately 1420, when the Green Mosque complex was constructed under Sultan Mehmed I. The composition presents a richly ornamented window framed by Arabic inscriptions, geometric borders, and finely executed vegetal arabesques.
