Gordon and A.J. Frueh (aka HAM). The 126-pg slim hardcover, from E.P. Dutton, is a satirical take on the journey of Noah's Ark, as described by Noah in his journal. With illustrations by Frueh as a great companion to Noah's Jazz-Age log: '"Mrs. Noah is again complaining. She says the weather takes the waves out of her marcels...." Frueh was the longtime artist for "The New Yorker," and here he goes full throttle, with the Arc's passengers (family) & and the lucky animals..This 100-year-old gem is in excellent condition - clean, bright, unmarked & unfoxed. This is the stated 5th printing of the original 1915 publication. The previous owner, Dr. Eleanor Stow Bancroft, left her Ex Libris stamp on the back of the fabulous cartoon front end page. She was a pioneering California physician and surgeon.who might have believed this satirical book was Good Medicine! For those who revere and/or collect Early 20th Century books, A.J.
