Elevate your table, mantel, or dining display with this elegant pair of vintage William Adams silverplate candlesticks. Crafted in Spain, they feature a classic turned and faceted baluster form with stepped octagonal bases, lending a timeless traditional aesthetic that complements both classic and contemporary interiors.
The undersides are stamped "Spain" above a cursive "WA" hallmark enclosed in a shield, identifying William Adams. They are also stamped "plated" on top of each base in very small lettering.
Beautiful displayed as a pair, these candlesticks add refined sophistication to formal dining tables, mantels, bookshelves, or console tables.

There is very little discoloration for candlesticks of this age. The top of one candlestick is slightly bent, as seen in the photos. These imperfections do not affect the use as they are still lovely and completely functional. These candlesticks most likely had felt pads on the bottom of each base. Please note that these candlesticks have been professionally polished and a protective lacquer has been applied so they will not need polishing for many years. Clean only with a soft cloth. less
