The planks … Read more English 19th century painted pine server-console, with four spacious drawers for organizing kitchens, dining rooms, hallways, and more. The planks of the unpainted top surface exhibit an amazing tactile quality both from their original milling and the deeply patinated grooves interrupting the natural flow of the grain, which is smooth to the touch. A line of four drawers in the case easily glide open using bin-pull hardware with scrolled motifs in their decoration. The drawerfronts and square, tapering legs which support the mass of the table (braced with an H-form stretcher) are painted a shade of aquamarine that keeps the design light and fresh for modern or historic tastes. We believe this to be in good antique condition considering its age, and any visible signs of wear are captured in the photos.
