Wonderfully detailed and whimsical forest painting from listed artist Ida Geyler Tollenger.
Tollenger attended the Art Academy of Cincinnati and the University of Cincinnati, where she studied under highly regarded painters such as John Ellsworth Weis and Frank H. Meyers.
She lived her life in the arts, as an exhibiting artist, arts board member and educator. She was accomplished in various mediums and worked in Ohio, New York and Japan. Signed in the lower right corner.
