He is a known contemporary Peruvian artist specializing in reproductions of sacred art. Open-source information on Robles indicates he studied at the National School of Fine Arts in Peru and is skilled at working in the historic style of the Cuzco School. This piece is in a fine antiqued and gilt frame and comes with plenty of provenance to verify its originality. On the back of the frame is a card from the Tora Mata gallery in Washington, D.C. A gallery appearing to specialize in Peruvian art. Along with the card is a receipt indicating the original purchaser of the piece paid $1100 to acquire this beautiful work of art. The oil painting and frame are in very good condition with no noted issue. There is always the possibility of minor nick or scuff to the frame, but please review all photographs for an overall representation of condition.
